DESCRIPTION:This course is designed for early-career educators and research
 ers in who wish to develop the confidence and skills to design\, develop a
 nd deliver effective training. It targets early stage trainers\, postdocto
 ral researchers\, and academic staff involved in teaching.During the train
 ing\, you will learn evidence-based principles of how people learn and how
  to apply these principles to create structured\, captivating\, and practi
 cal sessions. The course emphasizes fostering learner engagement\, organiz
 ing content for clarity\, and providing constructive feedback.Based on the
  ELIXIR-GOBLET Train-the-Trainer framework\, the program also addresses co
 mmon challenges faced in academic teaching environments and encourages pee
 r-to-peer exchange. Although examples are drawn from bioinformatics\, the 
 concepts and strategies introduced are transferable to teaching across hig
 her education disciplines.
