Typical topics include how best to avoid dead lock\, overlapping communication and calculation\, understanding performan ce\, debugging strategies or parallel IO.\n\nThis hands-on course is an op portunity to learn how best to use MPI based on the experiences of the ARC HER CSE team at EPCC.\n\nRather than covering advanced MPI functions\, it will focus on the practicalities of using MPI effectively for large-scale parallel scientific applications.
